The Reality of Russian Hegemony

Russian Hegemony is deep rooted in the foreign policy of the Imperial Russia. Kremlin wants foreign governments accept its dominance in the world. Netanyahu of Israel constantly presses Putin
on keeping Iran out of Syria, but Putin asks him to be patient in order to embrace much more achievements.

At the moment, the politics of Russia is to keep the peace Between Israel and Iran for the sake of its own strategic interests. Vladimir Putin knows that Trump is bombing Syria for Israel's interests.

On May 18, 2018, Russian Tass News Agency reported that Russia expects foreign troops to be withdrawn from Syria. Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov added: "Russia is there at the request of the Syrian leadership and has all legitimate grounds for that. However, far from all countries deployed their troops to Syria legitimately from the legal point of view." [1]

Putin advised to his spokesman Peskov to say: Iran & Hezbollah also must out of Syria. Russia will stay in Syria!!! According to the report in The Tass News Agency, Peskov emphasized: ""It is precisely these countries [1]{i.e., Iran, The U.S.A and the Hezbollah Forces] that we are talking about."

On May 17, 2018, Dana Rysmukhamedova with Cedric Simon in Sofia and Julien Girault in Beijing Astana, Kazakhstan (AFP) reported that Russia and China moved Thursday to extend their economic influence in Iran, while Europeans are finding it harder to ignore efforts by Washington to isolate Tehran economically.[2]

On April 25, 2018, Paul Iddon is a freelance journalist based in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, who writes about Middle East affairs published an article in Alaraby entitled "Would Russia respond to an Iran-Israel conflict in Syria?" in which he wrote: "Russia's role in Syria may very well depend on any future confrontation between Israel and Iran." [3]

The author of this article added: "Israel and Russia, at least until April 9, have avoided stepping on each others toes by keeping an open communications line established shortly after the Russian military arrived in Syria." [3]

On February 15, Raphael Ahren quoted Russian Deputy Ambassador to Israel, Leonid Frolov, as saying: " Were Iran to attack Israel, Moscow would stand by the Jewish state's side."

The Russian Deputy Ambassador added: "In the case of aggression against Israel, not only will the United States stand by Israel’s side — Russia, too, will be on Israel’s side,” Russian Deputy Ambassador to Israel Leonid Frolov said. “Many of our countrymen live here in Israel, and Israel in general is a friendly nation, and therefore we won’t allow any aggression against Israel.” [4]
